The Vein Light is a hand held battery powered illumination vein finder device for finding veins and assisting in vein access. Surface illumination is possible using 10 orange & 10 red LED's placed alternaly. This placement is used to uniformly illuminate a small region of skin and subcutaneous tissue, anywhere on the body, without any areas of shadow. The illumination technique allows better visualization of veins than any other method. The design of vein light is such that during vein access, the vein is visualized, skin is stretched and vein is secured to keep it from rolling. It is designed for external examination.This device is very useful which avoids multiple needle prick and no treatment delay.
How to Use?
-Place the Vein Finder device light against the patient's skin with the LED size in direct contact with the skin prependicular to vein direction. Apply gentle pressure to maintain optimal skin contact.
-To turn on the LED, press the opaque button located on the side of the device.
