About SenSura 1 Piece Ostomy Bag :

The SenSura ostomy adhesive plate and bag are intended to collect output from a stoma. The SenSura adhesive plate is intended to adhere to intact peristomal skin and is used for positioning of ostomy bags.

Adhesive :

The adhesive is designed to provide secure fit and adhesion to individual body contours. It protects the skin and follows body movements without compromising adhesion. It keeps the skin underneath the adhesive healthy by absorbing excess moisture.

Filter :

The filter(s) allows air to escape the bag and removes unpleasant odour for more discretion.

Soft cover :

The soft cover is made of strengthened fabric and is water repellant. The inspection window, available on some product versions, helps to apply the adhesive securely around the stoma.

For Convex Light/Soft Seal only :

Convex Light products are designed for those people who have an ostomy that is flush (skin level), retracted (below skin level) or ostomies located in skin folds. The appliance comes with a belt attachment on either side.

With SenSura Convex Shallow 1-piece drainable, the SenSura double-layer adhesive is permanently fixed to the pouch. To change the pouch, the whole appliance is removed and replaced. SenSura Convex Shallow 1-piece drainable is available with convex baseplate and can be customized, with Coloplast 15209 pouch in 15-43mm size available in opaque colour, with inspection window.

Coloplast 15209 (15-43mm) SenSura+ 1P Drainable Pouch is a maxi open convex light opaque ostomy bag that has a range of features designed to offer comfort and discretion:

1. Hide-away outlet - the outlet is easy to empty and clean, and has an integrated VELCRO® Brand closure that can be easily tucked away. In fact, the pouch can be folded up and secured in its own pocket to be half its size, offering you extra discretion when you need it.
2. Inspection window - makes it easier to place the adhesive correctly and allows the stoma to be checked when needed.
3. Integrated filter - avoids the risk of the pouch ballooning up and causing unnecessary bulges, and neutralizes odour.

Convex light, for stomas that are difficult to manage

SenSura Convex Shallow 1-piece drainable is available with Convex light. The oval shape of the Convex light baseplate is designed to help a stoma that is difficult to manage, for example a stoma that is flush, retracted, or located in a skin fold. It applies light and directed pressure on the peristomal skin to reduce the risk of leakage by allowing the stoma to protrude.
