G1 Advance Glucometer Test Strips 50 Strips Pack (1x50) for blood glucose self test are used only with G1 Advance and Alere G1 Blood Glucose Meter (Model: AGM-4000) to improve management of diabetes. 

It is intended to quantitatively measure blood glucose (sugar) levels in fresh capillary whole blood drawn from the fingertip for self testing or professional use.

G1 Advance delivers proven accuracy because of its superior Gold biosensor technology. It is auto-coded for convenience and has a special strip ejector for your hygiene & infection prevention.

Test Principle :

The G1 Advance Blood Glucose Monitoring System is based on measurement of electrical currents caused by the reaction of glucose with the reagents on the gold electrodes of the test strip. The blood sample is drawn into the test strip's reaction chamber through capillary action. Glucose in the sample reacts with the glucose dehydrogenase and mediator. This reaction creates electrical currents. The consequent electrical currents are proportional to the glucose concentration in the blood and converted to the equivalent glucose concentration by the algorithm programmed in the G1 Advance Blood Glucose Monitor.

Measuring range : The test strip can measure blood glucose in the range of 20-600 mg/dL.

Instructions : Insert the strip in the monitor and apply the blood drop to the yellow side-edge of the test strip. Results will display in 5 seconds.
