Hollister Adapt Lubricating Deodorant (78501) - 8ml Packet

Hollister (Ref 78501) Adapt Lubricating Deodorant is an unscented lubricant and odour neutralizer (not a perfume or masking agent) made for use in drainable and closed ostomy appliances only, for providing a level of confidence and security to the user.

• As a lubricant, it provides lubrication for making pouch emptying easy. Also helps prevent pouch sticking and static.
• As a deodorant, it eliminates odor.

Use with each pouch change or after pouch is emptied.

Indications and Intended Use: This product is an accessory to an ostomy pouching system (e.g., colostomy, ileostomy) intended to help minimise odour and to facilitate pouch emptying.

Instructions For Using Adapt Lubricating Deodorant:-

For Cut-to-Fit Barriers: Cut Skin Barrier with release paper on.

For Drainable Pouches:

1. Apply pouch
2. Bottle: add approximately 5mL or 1 tsp. Close the pouch in the normal manner.
3. Rub to thoroughly coat the inside of the pouch. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 after every emptying.

For Closed Pouches:

1. Do not remove release paper on barrier to add product.
2. Bottle: add approximately 5mL or 1 tsp.
3. Rub to thoroughly coat the inside of the pouch. Remove release paper on skin barrier and apply.
