Dr. Gene AccuSure Fora Blood Glucose Test Strips also known as AccuSure Blue Glucometer Strips are used only with AccuSure Blood Glucose Meter (Blue in color) to quantitatively measure blood glucose levels in whole blood for self testing or professional use.

For this, it uses fresh capillary whole blood samples from the finger and the following alternative sites (AST): the palm, the upper arm and the forearm. The AccuSure Blue Test Strips are no coding test strips as it does not require any type of manual coding. You will get accurate results within 7 seconds after applying only 0.7 micro liters blood sample on AccuSure Test Strip.

Auto Code Technology : Dr. Gene AccuSure boasts Autocode capabilities, requiring no coding for healthcare professionals and patients. What this means is fewer steps during the testing process, and no risk of false readings because of errors related to incorrect coding.

AccuSure Glucometer Test Strips are intended for use outside the body (in vitro diagnostic use) for self-testing and health care professional use, as an aid in the management of diabetes.

Test Principle :

AccuSure Blue Test Strips provide a quantitative measurement of glucose in whole blood. When the absorbent hole is filed by the blood sample, the reaction between blood glucose and chemical components in the strip start and generates an electrical current. The meter measures the current and displays the corresponding blood glucose level. The strength of the current produced by the reaction depends on the amount of glucose in the blood sample.
