Hollister (Ref 9778) Wound Drainage Collector with Skin Barrier (10cm x 20cm)

Hollister Wound Drainage Collector with Skin Barrier (10cm x 20cm) - Ref 9778 is an one-piece non-sterile drainable ostomy pouch specifically designed to contain exudate from draining wounds, fistulas or draining tube sites. Collectors with a skin barrier are suitable for general wear. Collectors are designed to be emptied.

Hollister Wound Manager has an integrated soft tap at the bottom of the pouch, which allows it to be connected to a bedside collector without the use of an adapter. The FlexWear barrier is a skin barrier that provides excellent adhesion to the skin and is designed to be worn for more than one day. An access window allows for easy assessment without removing the pouch.

Material: Hollister Wound Manager is made of hydrocolloid skin adhesive and polymer/copolymer plastics.

Indications and Intended Use: The product is intended to collect and contain drainage from a wound, fistula, or draining tube site.

Warnings: Reuse of a single use product may create potential risk to the user such as poor adhesion. Reprocessing, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilisation (sterilization) may compromise the product. This may result in odour (odor) or leakage. Ensure proper fit as instructed. If the barrier opening is incorrect or leakage occurs, skin damage may occur (e.g., irritation, broken skin, rash, or redness). This may decrease wear time.

Notes: To help ensure proper adhesion, apply to clean, dry intact skin. Do not use oils or lotions. These products may interfere with adhesion of the skin barrier. Contact a healthcare practitioner for help with the wound drainage collect or skin irritation. In case of serious injury (incident) in relation to your use of the product, please contact your local distributor or manufacturer, and your local competent authority.
