Mepilex Border Flex (15cm x 15cm) by Molnlycke is a self-adherent soft silicone multipurpose all-in-one foam dressing specially designed to uniquely conform and stay on; aiming to give time back to nurses, cost savings back to managers and quality of life back to patients.

Mepilex Border Flex is a self-adherent, absorbent flexible dressing that maintains a moist wound environment. The waterproof outer layer protects from dirt and bacteria. The dressing has a Safetac® wound contact layer that is a unique adhesive technology. It minimises pain to patients and trauma to intact skin or wounds at dressing removal.

Mepilex Border Flex Dressing (15cm x 15cm) has a 11cm x 11cm pad.

Reduced pain and damage

Mepilex's proven Safetac® technology means less pain and damage during dressing changes, and reduced risk of maceration than traditional (adhesive) dressings.

Being available in square, oval and rectangular shapes, it can be used on a wide range of wounds and considered as your ‘go to’ all-in-one dressing.

Easy application

3-part release liner can help you to place your dressing accurately and securely, avoiding wrinkles, rolled edges and re-applications.

Indications for use :

Mepilex Border Flex is designed for a wide range of exuding wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, traumatic wounds (e.g. skin tears) and surgical wounds. Mepilex Border Flex can also be used on dry/necrotic wounds in combination with gels.

Mepilex Border Flex reduces postoperative blistering and may also be used as part of a prophylactic therapy to prevent skin damage, e.g. pressure ulcers.

Instructions for use : 

Mepilex Border Flex Dressing should be used by or under the supervision of a qualified health care professional.

Note that local hygiene procedures should be followed prior to and following the dressing change.
