Product Description :

Velfix T-Film by Datt Mediproducts Private Limited (DMP) is a fully transparent, sterile film dressing that is specially designed to be breathable and water- and bacteria-proof, helping to protect wounds from external bacterial contamination/infections, dirt, and liquids. It creates an optimal moist environment for faster healing and acts as a “second skin” to prevent mechanical trauma.

Velfix T-Film (Transparent Film) Post-Operative Dressing is made of superior-quality polyurethane (PU)-based thin, flexible plastic film, backed with a latex-free, hypoallergenic adhesive that is gentle on the skin and easy to apply and remove.

The skin-friendly material is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and conforms/adapts well to body contours, even at joints, during day-to-day activities.

Its transparency helps in easy inspection of wounds without any need to remove the dressing, unlike other conventional dressings.

Indications For Use :

The dressing is indicated to provide waterproof fixation of wound dressings and is recommended for covering acute wounds such as abrasions and lacerations, and post operative incisions, donor and catheter sites or IV entry points.

Suggested Application :

• Keeping primary wound dressings dry and protected
• Covering minor cuts, abrasions, or sutured wounds
• Securing dressings on elbows, knees, or other mobile areas
• Acting as a second-skin layer to prevent friction or external irritation

Wear Time :

Veflix T-Film Dressing can generally stay in place for 5–7 days if it remains intact, clean, and well-sealed. Replace the dressing earlier if the edges lift, moisture collects underneath, or contamination occurs.

Instructions For Use :

Follow the below steps:

1. Step 1: Clean and dry the skin and wound area thoroughly.
2. Step 2: Peel off the protective backing of the film.
3. Step 3: Gently place the film over the wound or dressing.
4. Step 4: Press and smooth the edges to ensure it adheres securely.
5. Step 5: When ready to change, lift and remove the film gently without pulling the skin.
