Mepilex Border Post-Op (10cm x 30cm) is a self-adherent soft silicone all-in-one surgical dressing specially designed for post operative care. The absorbent pad of Mepilex Border Post-Op comes with extra flexibility so you can rely on it for dressing surgical incisions on joints such as hips and knees to support early patient mobility. The design absorbs well to reduce dressing change frequency.

Mepilex Border Post-Op is a self-adherent dressing that absorbs blood exudate and minimises the risk for maceration. The waterproof outer layer protects the wound from dirt and bacteria. The dressing has a Safetac® wound contact layer that is a unique adhesive technology. It minimises pain to patients and trauma to intact skin or wounds at dressing removal.

Mepilex Border Post-Op Dressing is gentle, extra-conformable and easy to use for surgical wounds. It's designed to mould softly to skin without sticking to the moist wound. So you can remove it easily without damaging the skin.

Mepilex Border Post-Op consists of:

1. a transparent outer film which is breathable but waterproof, providing a barrier to external contaminants.
2. a flexible absorbent pad in two layers: a non-woven spreading layer and a layer with super absorbent fibres.
3. a wound contact layer consisting of soft silicone adhesive (Safetac) and a film carrier.

Mepilex Border Post-Op (10cm x 30cm) has a 5 x 25cm pad.

Mepilex Border Post-Op is self adherent absorbent surgical dressing designed for exuding wounds. It is intended for acute wounds, such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions.
